Clean up orphaned data

Over time, your server may accumulate accounts that are not part of your organisation and are not guests. These are called orphaned accounts. They appear on the Orphans page in Admin, where you can review them and delete any you no longer need.

You need an admin or owner role to do this.

Find orphaned accounts

1. Open the Orphans page in Admin.

A list of accounts appears on the left. If the list is empty, there are no orphaned accounts on your server.

Review an account

Click any name in the list to open the detail panel on the right. You can see the person's name, email address, and when the account was created.

Delete an account

1. Click the account you want to remove.
2. Click the trash icon in the toolbar.
3. Read the confirmation and click Delete.

The account is deleted immediately. You can search the list by name or email address if you have many accounts to work through.
