Add a contact

Open Contacts and click Create contact in the sidebar. A blank form opens where you can fill in as much or as little as you know.
Fill in the details
The form is divided into three sections.
Basic Information
- First name and Last name: at least one of the two is required before you can save.
- Company and Job title: optional fields for workplace details.
- Labels: pick from any labels you have set up to organise this contact from the start. Choose from the dropdown under the field.
Contact Information
- Email Addresses: one empty field is shown by default. Click Add to include more addresses. You can remove any extra address with the bin icon.
- Phone Numbers: works the same way as email. Click Add to include more numbers.
- Addresses: fill in Street, City, State, Postal code, and Country. Click Add to add a second address. Each address block has a bin icon to remove it.
Additional Information
- Birthday: click the date field and pick a date.
- Notes: a free-text area for anything else you want to remember about this contact.
Add a photo
Click the camera icon at the bottom right of the avatar circle. Choose Upload from files to pick an image from your computer. The photo is saved with the contact.
Save the contact
Click Save at the bottom of the form. Contacts takes you back to My Contacts, where the new entry appears in the list. Click it to see the full details.
To discard the form without saving, click Cancel.
