Get started with Contacts

Contacts is where you keep the people you work with. You can store names, email addresses, phone numbers, job titles, addresses, birthdays, and notes, and reach someone in Mail straight from their contact page. This page is a quick tour of what you can do.
The contact list
Open Contacts and you'll see My Contacts in the sidebar. Click it to show everyone in your address book. Contacts are listed alphabetically, grouped by their first letter.
To search by name or email address, type in the search bar at the top of the list. The list updates as you type.
To change how names are sorted, click the arrows icon next to the search bar and choose First name or Last name.
View a contact
Click any row in the list to open the contact's details on the right. The detail panel shows their Contact Information (email addresses and phone numbers), company and job title, birthday, Addresses, and Notes, depending on what has been filled in.
If a contact has an email address, you can click it to open a new message to them in Mail.
Add a contact
Click Create contact in the sidebar. A form opens with fields for name, email, phone, address, and more. At least one name field is required before you can save. When you're done, click Save. The new contact appears in My Contacts straight away.
See Add a contact for a step-by-step walkthrough of the form.
Teams
If you belong to a team in Eigen, each team appears in the sidebar below My Contacts. Click a team name to see its members. You can view a team member's details the same way as a personal contact, but team members are managed by whoever administers the team, not through the Contacts form.
